Waste management — hazardous waste handled safely, value recovered.
Glorinda provides advanced systems for hazardous waste — liquid, gas, solid and mixed — from industrial and natural-resource activities. We turn waste into recovered energy and materials while meeting environmental standards.
Overview
Waste management — hazardous waste handled safely, value recovered.
Because of complex composition and high pollution risk, hazardous waste demands proper analysis and safe disposal. Glorinda’s incineration systems burn organic waste and convert it into incinerator bottom ash, treated flue gas and particles (cleaned before release) and recoverable heat energy.
Our incinerator packages are designed for hazardous zones (Zone 1 and Zone 2) and are compatible with gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC — ensuring safety, efficiency and environmental compliance. Alongside thermal treatment we provide waste-separation technology and material recovery to divert value from landfill.
Typical applications
Where it fits
- Hazardous liquid, gas, solid & mixed waste
- Organic waste incineration
- Material recovery & separation
- Landfill leachate treatment
- Flue-gas cleaning
- Waste heat recovery
- Waste valorization
- Municipal solid waste
Common challenges
- Complex, high-risk waste with no compliant route
- Landfill cost and scarcity rising
- Flue-gas emissions under tightening limits
- Value lost to landfill instead of recovered
Glorinda’s answer
- Hazardous-waste incineration rated for Zone 1–2
- Flue-gas cleaning before release
- Heat and energy recovery from treated waste
- Material recovery and waste separation
- Landfill leachate treatment (ZLD/membrane)
Our approach
Hazardous waste is an analysis problem first
Hazardous waste arrives as liquid, gas, solid and mixed streams from industrial and natural-resource activity, and its composition is frequently complex and poorly characterised. Because the pollution risk is high and the disposal routes are legally constrained, proper analysis has to precede any choice of treatment method — not follow it.
Once characterised, our incineration systems burn the organic fraction and convert it into incinerator bottom ash, treated flue gas and particles cleaned before release, and heat energy available for recovery. The packages are designed for hazardous zones (Zone 1 and Zone 2) and are compatible with gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC, so they can be sited where the waste actually is.
Thermal treatment is not always the answer. Where material can be recovered rather than destroyed, waste separation and material recovery divert value from landfill; where the problem is a contaminated liquid, our water treatment technologies — membranes, adsorbents and, at the limit, ZLD — are usually the more economic route. Treating waste management and water treatment as one capability is what allows that choice to be made on merit.

FAQ
Good to know
What waste can you treat?
Liquid, gas, solid and mixed hazardous waste from industrial and natural-resource activities, plus municipal solid waste, with analysis to select safe disposal methods.
Are your incinerators rated for hazardous areas?
Yes — packages are designed for Zone 1 and Zone 2 and compatible with gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC.
Can we recover energy from waste?
Yes. Treated waste yields recoverable heat, and our waste-to-energy systems convert municipal and industrial waste into power and heat.
