Overview

Proven design principles, advanced tools, modular execution.

Glorinda Turbines is driven by a team of experienced techno-entrepreneurs with decades of expertise in the design and support of steam turbines and related systems — including after-sales service, refurbishment and support for critical components.

Our work combines proven design principles, advanced engineering tools and deep industry knowledge to create flexible, efficient turbines. We apply an Optimised Flow Path with Modular System: standardised modules arranged to the application, creating compact, efficient and durable packages with high reliability under heavy load variation.

Thermodynamic design, mechanical design and system integration are carried out in-house, using CFD, rotor dynamics, casing and blade mechanics, stability and heat-transfer analysis and 3D modelling.

Products are developed under the Glorinda brand and manufactured by qualified OEM partners. Glorinda controls technical specification, branding and quality control.

FAQ

What power range do you cover?

From 50 kW to 180 MW across the GST series, in impulse and reaction designs, back-pressure and condensing configurations.

What are the maximum steam conditions?

Up to 140 bar inlet pressure and 540 °C inlet temperature, with exhaust/back pressure up to 20 bar and extraction up to 70 bar(a).

What is an Energy Recovery System (ERS)?

A simplified turbine of 3–10 MW with no gearbox and a simple lubricating oil system, using double-pedestal construction and direct drive — high efficiency, easy operation, low maintenance and often no special civil foundation.

Can you upgrade our existing turbine?

Yes. We offer retrofit and re-rate solutions, steam-path redesign, rotor-dynamic analysis and updated blading layouts to extend life and increase efficiency — on Glorinda and other manufacturers’ machines.

What after-sales support is available?

24/7 telephone support 365 days a year, guaranteed spare-part availability within 24 hours, and modular service agreements for up to 10 years.
