Matched to the product

Spray, fluid-bed, drum, rotary, flash, paddle or steam-tube — chosen for heat sensitivity, particle size and throughput.

Large-scale capacity

Units up to 480 m² for high-volume production, engineered for long-term performance.

Energy-efficient

Drying method and heat integration selected to cut what is usually the biggest energy line in the plant.

Consistent quality

Stable moisture control protects texture, taste, nutrition and shelf-life.

Integrated packages

Dryers integrated with upstream and downstream equipment as a coherent process package.

Food & pharma grade

Sanitary design for food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical production.

How it works

The process, stage by stage

We select the dryer from the material’s properties and the target moisture, then integrate it with feed, heat and dust-handling systems.

Engineering detail

The dryer decides the product, the energy bill and the plant layout

Drying is usually the largest single energy consumer in a food or chemical plant, and it is also the stage most likely to damage the product. Those two facts pull in opposite directions: the fastest, cheapest way to remove water is rarely the gentlest.

Selection therefore starts with the material rather than the machine. Heat sensitivity, particle size, initial and target moisture, throughput and whether the product is a liquid, slurry, cake or free-flowing solid narrow the field quickly. Spray dryers take liquids directly to powder in a single step and suit dairy and similar products. Fluid-bed dryers handle granular material gently and give close control over final moisture. Rotary and drum dryers move high volumes of robust material economically. Flash dryers suit fine particles with surface moisture. Paddle and steam-tube dryers handle sludges and pastes with indirect heat where product contact with hot gas is unacceptable.

Once the type is fixed, the energy design follows. Heat source, heat recovery and air handling are engineered together, because the difference between a well-integrated dryer and an isolated one shows up on the fuel bill every hour the plant runs. We supply large-scale units up to 480 m² where throughput demands it.

Dust and ventilation are treated as design requirements rather than afterthoughts — both for product safety and to prevent particulates dispersing into the surrounding environment. And because drying is also a stage in our ZLD systems, the same dryer expertise applies whether the product leaving the machine is a saleable powder or a crystallised salt.

FAQ

Answers for engineers and procurement

Which dryer is right for my product?

It depends on heat sensitivity, particle size, moisture target and throughput. Spray dryers suit liquids to powders; fluid-bed suits gentle drying; rotary and drum suit robust high-volume materials; flash, paddle and steam-tube each fit particular duties. We select from the material properties.

How large can the dryers be?

We supply large-scale industrial units up to 480 m², engineered for energy efficiency and long-term performance.

Can drying be made more energy-efficient?

Yes — the drying method and heat integration are chosen specifically to cut energy per tonne, since drying is often the single biggest energy cost in the plant.

Do the dryers meet food and pharma hygiene requirements?

Yes — sanitary design is used for food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical production.
