Wind energy — onshore, offshore and floating.
Glorinda produces electricity from wind through modern, optimised turbines and wind farms — and supplies the foundations, engineering and services that make an offshore project possible.
Overview
Wind energy — onshore, offshore and floating.
As a leading group in clean energy, Glorinda develops electricity generation from wind through onshore and offshore wind farms equipped with modern, optimal turbines. For offshore projects we provide monopile and floating foundations, and a full range of services for stand-by wind farm projects.
Our scope includes feasibility studies, licensing, metocean and wind-source studies, mooring and dynamic-cable analysis, turbine simulation and typical design, monopile and floating foundation design, Owner’s Engineering, and construction and commissioning management.

Our approach
Where wind projects actually get difficult
Wind turbines are a mature technology; wind projects are not. The engineering risk sits in the parts that never appear in the brochure — the resource assessment that determines whether the business case holds, the foundation design that dominates offshore capital cost, and the mooring and cable analysis that decides whether a floating scheme is viable at all.
Glorinda works across that whole scope. We run feasibility studies and licensing, metocean and wind-source studies, mooring and dynamic-cable analysis, turbine simulation and typical design, and monopile and floating foundation design. On projects where another contractor executes, we act as Owner’s Engineer, reviewing design and overseeing construction and commissioning management on your behalf.
The offshore capability is not borrowed from a brochure either: it comes from the same marine and offshore engineering group that designs floating storage and regasification units, where platform design, mooring and offshore civil works are routine.
- 01
Feasibility
Technical and commercial feasibility, technology evaluation and cost/profitability analysis before capital is committed.
- 02
Engineering
Conceptual, basic and detailed engineering, process packages and specification of the equipment that will actually be bought.
- 03
Delivery
EPC or EPCM delivery, or an Owner’s Engineer role protecting your interest through a contractor’s execution.
- 04
Commissioning
Installation supervision, testing, start-up and the training that lets your team run the plant.
- 05
Support
Operation, troubleshooting, process optimisation, maintenance and spare parts for the life of the asset.
