Waste-to-Energy · Biogas
Biogas — renewable energy from organic waste.
Glorinda completes every phase of a biogas project — preliminary studies and feasibility, process and detailed design, project management and commissioning — and procures the digesters, tanks, agitators and filters it needs.
Overview
Biogas — renewable energy from organic waste.
We are capable of completing all phases of a biogas project, starting with a feasibility study and calculation of costs and profitability, then process design and engineering, detailed design and plotting of tanks, pipes and components.
We also manage biogas projects from start to finish: construction management and supervision, performance and quality monitoring, process commissioning and operations monitoring. Glorinda procures biogas packages and equipment such as tanks, agitators, digesters and carbon filters — and pairs biogas with our AnaeroMBR for high-strength effluent.

Our approach
The feedstock decides the project
Biogas plants fail commercially far more often than they fail technically, and the cause is almost always feedstock: too little of it, too variable, or contracted on terms that do not survive the first year of operation. This is why our involvement starts with a feasibility study and a calculation of costs and profitability ratios before any process design begins.
Once the feedstock case holds, we complete every phase: process design and engineering, detailed design, plotting of generals, tanks, pipes and other components, construction management and supervision, monitoring and evaluation of implementation quality, process commissioning and operations monitoring. We also procure the equipment — biogas packages, tanks, agitators, digesters and carbon filters.
For high-strength industrial effluent, conventional digestion is often the wrong tool. Our AnaeroMBR combines a completely-mixed anaerobic reactor with low-energy tubular ultrafiltration membranes, tolerating COD loads above 250 g/L along with high TSS, FOG and salinity that would defeat a UASB or EGSB system — and recovering biogas from streams that would otherwise be a treatment cost.

FAQ
Good to know
Do you deliver the whole biogas plant?
Yes — from feasibility and process design through detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning and operations monitoring, plus procurement of digesters, agitators, tanks and filters.
Can you get biogas from difficult effluent?
Yes. Our AnaeroMBR combines anaerobic digestion with UF membranes to recover biogas from high-COD, high-FOG or salty wastewater that defeats conventional digesters.
