Renewable energy mix: solar CSP, wind and hydro at golden hour

Energy · Renewable

Renewable generation, engineered for your site and load.

Solar and CSP, wind, hydropower, wave and tidal, geothermal and waste-to-energy. Glorinda selects and engineers the renewable technology that fits the resource, the grid and the budget — from feasibility to commissioning.

Overview

Not a replacement choice — a necessity.

Glorinda leads in building sustainable energy plants. We use renewable resources through optimised technologies, localised solutions and reasonable starting costs — with high efficiency and eco-friendliness, the factor with the greatest impact on avoiding future economic, regional and environmental cost.

Across every family we deliver the full engineering scope: feasibility, conceptual/basic/detailed engineering, EPC and EPCM, testing, commissioning and operational support. Where another contractor executes, we act as Owner’s Engineer, protecting your interest through design review and construction oversight rather than delivering the works ourselves.

Our approach

Choosing between renewables honestly

There is no universally best renewable technology — only the one that fits a particular resource, load and site. A solar figure that looks excellent in one region is uneconomic two hundred kilometres away; a wind resource that supports a strong business case offshore may not justify the foundation cost at that water depth.

This is why every Glorinda renewable project starts with feasibility and resource assessment rather than with a technology recommendation. We run field and project feasibility studies, resource and metocean assessment, licensing support and technology evaluation, and only then move into conceptual, basic and detailed engineering.

Delivery follows as EPC or EPCM, or as an Owner’s Engineer role where another contractor executes — through technical assistance in hardware testing, testing, initial implementation and commissioning. Because we also engineer energy storage, the intermittency question is answered inside the same project rather than deferred to a later one.

Our emphasis throughout is on optimised technologies, localised solutions and reasonable starting costs. Sustainable energy is not simply a replacement choice but a necessity — and the factor with the greatest long-term impact is efficiency, because it is what prevents future economic, regional and environmental cost.

  • 01

    Feasibility & resource

Field and project feasibility, resource and metocean assessment, licensing support and technology evaluation.

  • 02

    Engineering

Conceptual, basic and detailed engineering for the selected technology.

  • 03

    Delivery

EPC and EPCM delivery, or Owner’s Engineering where another contractor executes.

  • 04

    Testing

Technical assistance in hardware testing, and testing prior to implementation.

  • 05

    Commissioning

Initial implementation, commissioning and long-term operational support.
